On 10-16-2024  a photovoltaic solar power plant project
 with a total capacity of (1.7) megawatts was connected with the aim of contributing to securing the necessary electrical energy for the industrial production sector, implemented by the private sector on the land of a jute bag manufacturing factory on the Hama / Salamiyah road.
The full capital recovery will take place after 5 and a half years of project investment, so that the benefit from it becomes free for 20 years after that.
It is worth noting that the project includes 2888 panels and 16 inverters.
