On their festival of Workers day on 1 May, electric workers celebrate the launch of new projects.

Today, electric workers completed the implementation of the expansion project//66/20 kV of Duma conversion station, equipped with 66/20 transformer with 30 MVA and 66 kV lines, and the transformation of 66 kV lines.

During a meeting with the workers who completed the project, Electricity Minister Ghassan Zamil praised the workers' efforts and pointed out that the project is one of the many examples of our workers' workers' strong will, to break the mandatory economic restrictions imposed on us

Eng Ghassan Alzamil emphasized that workers are the foundation of any achievement and success, and they are those who hold high the banner of construction and reformation. He praised also all Syrian workers and expressed appreciation for their work throughout the entire geographical region of Syria.
It is worth mentioning that the power station was damaged and destroyed by terrorist organizations during the war.

 Today, the execution workshop of the General Administration of Transmission and Distribution completed the maintenance and repair work of the above-mentioned power plant and lines,  which is part of the plan of the Ministry of Electric Power to restore and repair the damaged power system component
