President Bashar Assad held discussions with Mehdad Bazrbash, the Minister of Roads and Urban Construction of Iran ,the head of the Iranian side of the Economic Commission and his  accompanying.

The meeting  provide new prospects for economic cooperation between Syria and Iran, and and how to utilize development opportunities.In addition to developing the relationship between various economic sectors, whether in terms of investment, trade, or energy.

President Assad emphasized the need to transform the depth of political relations between Syria and Iran into a similar state of economic relations

President Assad considered it a necessary issue, and both governments must continue to work to strengthen this issue and promote its growth.

On the other hand, Minister Bazerbashi conveyed President of Iran's President Ibrahim Lehi's emphasis on supporting bilateral economic relations between Tehran and Damascus.

He also emphasized that Iran will make every effort to strengthen these relations to benefit  .benefit the people of both countrie

Minister Buchal Bash pointed out a series of economic issues to be dealt with by Syrian and Iranian committees in the next stage, especially in the fields of investment, energy, and electricity
